City of Tucker

Created in 1892 as a railroad stop, the City of Tucker was formed in 2016 by residents seeking to preserve Tucker’s local identity and sense of place. Tucker voters overwhelmingly supported the vision of maintaining a strong and engaged community with the added assistance of local government.

Created in 1822 DeKalb County, Georgia serves over 760,000 residents including 13 cities and 37,000 residents in the City of Tucker. Downtown Tucker is in Commission District 1 and Super District 7.
